Who won the NFL Draft?

Who won the NFL Draft
Well, the answer to this question is about a year away, as there is no real way to tell who won this year's draft unless we can all look into the future. However, that doesn’t stop anyone from grading each team's draft performance the week after the event. From ESPN to Fox News to NFL.com, the world loves to judge the NFL draft and what teams are the winners are losers. So I will continue that pattern and give three teams I thought deserved an A grade in this year's draft.

First Up, the Philadelphia Eagles scoring arguably two top ten prospects in the draft with the 9th and 30th pick in the first round was impressive. Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith are studs. Call it luck, call it expertise, call it whatever. What it was, was a job well done.

Next up is the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have arrived in this league, and over the past three years it has been clear to see what their strengths and weaknesses are. Offense line is definitely something they needed to get in this draft. I thought they did a good job in that in snagging Florida’s  O’Cyrus Torrence and Mississippi’s  Nick Broeker. The pickup of Tight End Dalton Kincaid could also be a big time addition given who he has throwing him footballs. I also found the pickup of Dorian Williams was a position they needed to add some depth in. The Bills needed another sack threat on defense.

Finally, is the Chicago Bears, and before you ask no there is no bias here lol. The Bears historically have struggled at Offensive line and quarterback. They drafted Fields two years ago, looking for the franchise quarterback they never have had. Their first round pick this year was a great pick. Darnell Wright out of Tennessee simply did not let up a sack his entire college career. The pickup of Gervon Dexter Sr in the second round and Noah Sewell in the fifth round are great uses of picks in trying to replace the impact of Hicks, Mack and Roquan Smith they have lost. There was not a wasted pick in this draft for the Bears.
